Sailing and Windsurfing have made Lake Garda famous throughout the world. It is always possible to go sailing on Lake Garda because of its constant winds: the Ora, which blows from south to north from late in the morning to late in the afternoon and the Pelér that blows from north to south from early in the morning to noon.
The northern part of the lake is the best place for those who like windsurfing or who want to learn the secrets of this sport. There are windsurf centres along the lakeshores that organise national and international events and courses for adults and children.
